The greatest tool for a graphic designer is a creative mind and the ability to imagine.
A defining factor of graphic design can be seen in the application of typography, the structure of a page, the grid,
the choice, scale and positioning of either photography or illustration to reinforce metaphorically the statement
within the text.
Today, the eye and the hand are augmented with digital tools and selecting the appropriate tool is a key skill
in design. It is also a skill to 'set aside’ our technology and create new and original artwork – Free the artist
